Mundoga, Eric & Makombe Safaris was founded on a simple conviction: that a great safari is not measured by the trophy alone, but by the quality of the experience, the integrity of the hunt, and the depth of knowledge brought to every day in the field.
Our roots are in Zimbabwe — in the vast wilderness of Muzarabani in the Zambezi Valley, and the legendary Save Valley Conservancy in south-east Zimbabwe. Over decades of professional hunting, we have built relationships with landowners, communities, and conservation bodies that give our clients access to some of the finest hunting ground in Africa.
Today, our operations span Zimbabwe and four regions of South Africa, with partnerships in Mozambique that open the door to some of the continent's last truly wild hunting. Every hunt we conduct is fully licensed, ethically managed, and guided by professional hunters who have spent their careers in the African bush.

Mundoga
Mundoga has spent over 25 years hunting the concessions of Zimbabwe and southern Africa. Born and raised in the Zambezi Valley, he developed an intimate knowledge of the bush that few professional hunters can match. His speciality is dangerous game — Buffalo, Elephant, and Lion — and he has guided hundreds of successful hunts across Matetsi, Dande, and Chewore. His reputation for safety, patience, and deep field craft is the foundation on which this operation was built.
Makombe
With over 10 years of professional hunting experience in the region, he brings an encyclopaedic knowledge of Zimbabwe game, terrain, and hunting regulations. His calm, methodical approach in the field has earned him the trust of clients from across the world, and his success rate on trophy Kudu, Sable, and Buffalo speaks for itself.
Eric
Eric is a seasoned professional hunter with extensive experience across Zimbabwe's premier concessions. His deep knowledge of the terrain and game behaviour makes him a trusted guide for both plains game and dangerous game hunts. Eric's commitment to ethical hunting and client safety ensures every safari is conducted to the highest professional standard.

All our professional hunters hold current, valid licenses issued by the relevant national wildlife authorities. We operate in full compliance with CITES regulations, national hunting quotas, and international trophy import requirements.
